When I think of wedding photography I think of dimple smiles, natural reactions, real emotion, excitement, romance and joy. Two people on the happiest day of their lives, celebrating with their closest family and friends, and I, as your photographer, am delighted…actually…honoured…to be a part of it.
In amongst all the hustle and bustle of the day, there are precious moments that most brides and grooms don’t get to see, but I see them for you. This is my responsibility, as a storyteller, to document your day, and to provide you with a lasting keepsake you’ll return to for the rest of your life. It’s an investment that just keeps getting more and more valuable as time goes on.
I believe that a natural documentary style photography can best capture the mood and feeling in your wedding. Less posing, more genuine reactions and emotion, and often without the person even knowing I’ve taken a picture. It’s an honest sort of storytelling, and I love it.
Of course, I’ll happily direct the formal family groups, but I like to have fun with my couples, too. I take the time to get to know you and I translate your personalities into your photos. My wedding clients become my friends. I make it memorable for you with some truly epic Scottish scenery, natural direction, and perhaps just a wee smidgen of silliness, and I aim to really bring out your feelings for each other in your images. I want you to feel the love bursting from the paper whenever you look at them. I want other people to look at them and wish they were you because you look so perfect together. 🙂
