Hazel and I got married in Pitlochry on the 21st of May, and Angela conducted our wedding ceremony.
Right from the word go, Angela was nothing but helpful and encouraging, keeping us right with all of the legal side of getting married in Scotland, as well as helping us to shape the ceremony that we wanted.
Prior to the day, we had a number of meetings with Angela to work out what it was we wanted our ceremony to look and feel like, agreeing the wording for the ceremony and helping us with preparing our vows. Angela was really easy to work with, making helpful suggestions when we were struggling to decide what it was we wanted, but never imposing herself or her ideas on us, which we both really appreciated. It really was our wedding and Angela made sure that we got the ceremony that we wanted, including hand fasting, which was a super addition to the event.
On the day itself, Angela was extremely supportive and patient with us (numerous stops to dry happy tears) and the ceremony itself really captured who we were as a couple. It couldn’t have been any better.
If anyone is thinking of having a celebrant for their wedding, we would highly recommend Angela.
