Your wedding isn’t a photoshoot. It’s a wedding. And I think you should get to enjoy it.
I’m Jenny, the photographer behind JB Moments Photography, based in Auchterarder, Perthshire and photographing weddings, elopements and intimate celebrations across Scotland.
My approach to weddings is relaxed, friendly and predominantly documentary. I’m there for the big moments, of course, but I’m also watching for everything happening around them: the nervous glance before you walk down the aisle, your gran having a wee greet during the ceremony, your best mate practising their speech when they think nobody is looking and the chaos unfolding on the dance floor.
In other words, all the bits that make your wedding yours.
And if the thought of spending hours posing for photographs fills you with dread, we’re probably going to get along rather well.
We’ll absolutely get the beautiful couple portraits and family photographs you’ll want to keep, but I work efficiently so you’re not disappearing from your own wedding for half the day. My aim is always to get you back to the people you’ve invited to celebrate with you.
I photograph everything from two-hour registry office ceremonies and intimate elopements to full wedding days, so you don’t need to be planning a huge traditional wedding to have your story properly captured.
Being based in Auchterarder puts me right in the heart of Scotland, with Gleneagles practically on my doorstep and Stirling, Perth and much of central Scotland within easy reach. I’ve photographed weddings in grand hotels, historic churches, registry offices, country venues and plenty of places in between.
Most importantly, I want you to look back at your photographs and remember how your wedding felt, not how long you spent having your photograph taken.
