After attending a few Humanist ceremonies, something clicked for me. I found himself drawn to the values at the heart of Humanism. Kindness, fairness, inclusion, and the belief that we shape our own lives through compassion and connection. It didn’t take long for me to realise: this is me. That’s when I decided to train as a Celebrant.
I believe in a world where everyone’s voice matters. Where human rights, free speech, and democracy aren’t just ideals, but essentials. My values have grown and deepened over the years, shaped by life experience and a natural instinct to care for others. I’m the kind of person who brings warmth into a room without trying. I am naturally thoughtful, gentle, and genuinely kind.
My career path has been as varied as it’s been people-focused: from social care to retail, hospitality to finance. And for over two decades, I have also volunteered in my local community, always finding ways to support and uplift those around me. Whether it’s chatting over a cuppa or helping someone through a tough time, I know how to connect and how to listen.
I understand that everyone’s journey is different. Our passions shift, our dreams evolve, and what brings us joy can change with time. That’s why I approach each ceremony with fresh eyes and an open heart. I’ve got the skills, the empathy, and the experience to craft something truly special. A ceremony that feels personal, meaningful, and unforgettable.
