Being married by Kirsten genuinely felt like having a friend marry us, just a friend who actually knew what she was doing and could be trusted with a microphone!
From the very beginning, Kirsten was absolutely incredible. She gave us so much information, advice and inspiration, with ideas for the ceremony, music recommendations and helpful thoughts when it came to writing our vows. There were so many things we hadn’t even considered, and she made the whole process feel exciting and completely stress-free. Nothing ever felt forced or overly formal. She really took the time to get to know us and understand exactly what we wanted our day to feel like. This was even more incredible when you consider we did that over FaceTime
And then came the ceremony… she absolutely nailed it. Kirsten captured us, our relationship and the whole atmosphere of our wedding perfectly. She had everyone in stitches with the way she told our story and spoke about us, while somehow still making the ceremony feel incredibly meaningful and emotional. One minute we were laughing, the next we were trying not to cry, and honestly, that was exactly what we wanted. She even took some incredible photos for us that made our wedding album.
So many of our guests have spoken to us since the wedding specifically to tell us how amazing Kirsten was and how much they loved the ceremony. We couldn’t agree more. She didn’t just fit the theme and atmosphere of our wedding, she completely understood it and brought it to life.
Kirsten was such a huge part of making our day as special as it was, and we honestly can’t thank her enough. I almost wish we could do it all over again… although preferably without the months of planning and the terrifying bank balance! 😂
