Wedderburn Castle is an exceptional castle located close to Duns in the romantic Scottish Borders, and is available for hire on an exclusive-use basis for weddings, parties and events. The castle can be used on its own or alongside with Wedderburn Barns, the rustic barn wedding and party venue in the castle grounds.
Wedderburn’s magnificent reception rooms include a magnificent ballroom for ceremonies and dancing, as well as a dramatic double staircase in the entrance hall. The castle provides the perfect space for large and small wedding ceremonies and dinners and dancing for up to 90 guests. it is also possible to hold a drinks reception for up to 150.
Accommodation for up to 42 guests is possible in the castle grounds, with space for 26 in the castle and a further 16 guests in the cottages and lodges around the estate.
Wedderburn Barns provide more relaxed and rustic spaces for dining and dancing for up to 150 people. The barns are set around a pretty courtyard garden.
The castle and barns are set in 80 acres of glorious parkland and it is also possible to hold outdoor ceremonies and receptions on the lawns, the barn courtyard, the woodland circle or other locations in the castle grounds.
