Based in EK I have been a marriage Officer/wedding celebrant with Independent Humanist Ceremonies for over 10 years and have enjoyed every minute of a wonderful profession that I never consider “just a job”!
From the initial meeting with a couple to central to their special day it’s a role I consider a privilege.
A favourite thing over the years is marrying multiple members of the same families, and friends of couples I’ve married, whether they were present at ceremonies or had me recommended to them. People feeling they can put their trust in you, is such an important part of the process and I take it as the ultimate compliment when friends and family return to me.
