Their story…
Kara and Mark met during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, in a bar about 100m from their beautiful wedding venue. Both born and raised in Edinburgh, there was nowhere else they could possibly get married…
Our big day was incredible, a true life fairytale.
As we lived close to the city, we always wanted a city centre wedding, mainly to capture all the iconic photographs/backdrops for our wedding album.

When the doors opened in the church and we caught eye contact and both just cried. I will never forget the feeling that it was just the two of us in the room and no one else mattered. It was such a strange surreal moment.
It was a stormy morning and we were both very concerned the rain would not go away, but after we said our vows, the sun came out and the weather was perfect from then on. The day went smoothly with lots of happy tears shed by many. Looking back, we could never have imagined our dreams come to life the way it did that day. Honestly, the best day of our lives.

The other stand out part for us were the photographs around Edinburgh. The sun was shining and the tourist spots we have been to so often before just looked and felt far more spectacular and special. It was just an incredible day.
ENJOY IT, the day goes far too quickly. We both wish we could relive it. Don’t worry about anyone else, it’s your day – make it perfect.
