In a quirky twist, they turned to an age-old superstition: burying a sausage to ward off the rain. “We were worried about the weather, so we buried a sausage the night before,” Lorna shared. “And it worked! We managed to have our ceremony outdoors with the stunning landscapes behind us. The rain only started once we signed the register.”

With a background in event management, Lorna brought her professional expertise to her own wedding. She created detailed briefs and mood boards to guide the day’s design and logistics. Yet even with her meticulous planning, the reality exceeded her expectations. “Everything was even better in real life,” she said, reflecting on how her vision came to life in ways she couldn’t have imagined.
